Who we are
Rising Founders Club runs networking nights for young founders in London. When this policy says "we" or "us", it means Rising Founders Club. For anything about your data, email admin@risingfoundersclub.com.
This website
We do not add cookies, analytics or advertising trackers to this site. Our web host, GoDaddy, keeps standard server logs (such as IP address and pages requested) for security, and adds its own small performance-monitoring script to every page to measure how fast the site loads. That script is run by GoDaddy under GoDaddy's privacy policy.
Contact form
If you use the contact form, we receive your name, email address, topic and message by email so we can reply. We keep these messages for up to 24 months, then delete them. To stop abuse, the site briefly stores a scrambled version of your IP address for one hour to limit how many messages can be sent.
Tickets
Tickets are sold through Luma. When you register, Luma collects your details and payment under its own privacy policy, and shares your registration details with us as the organiser. That usually means your name, email address and any answers you give on the registration form. We never see your full card details.
How we use your details
- To run the event: the guest list, entry on the night, and updates about the event you booked.
- To tell you about future nights, only if you agreed to hear from us. You can unsubscribe at any time.
- To reply when you email us or use the contact form.
We use your details because you booked a ticket with us (to provide the event), because you agreed (for news about future events), or because we have a legitimate interest in running safe, well-organised events.
Photos and video
We take photos and video at our events and may use them on this website and our social media. If you would rather not appear, tell us on the night or email us and we will remove you from anything we publish.
Who we share it with
We do not sell your details. We share them only with services that help us run the club, such as Luma for ticketing and our email provider, or when the law requires it.
How long we keep it
We keep attendee details for up to 24 months after your last event, then delete them. You can ask us to delete them sooner.
Your rights
Under UK data protection law you can ask to see the data we hold about you, correct it, delete it, or object to how we use it. Email admin@risingfoundersclub.com. If you are unhappy with how we handle your data, you can complain to the Information Commissioner's Office at ico.org.uk.
